Dr. Md Anwar Habib is born in 1959 in Rajshahi city of Bangladesh. He took his matriculation and a higher secondary degree in 1974 of & 1976 yr. respectively. Then he got himself admitted to Rajshahi Medical College, Bangladesh, and obtained an MBBS degree. He joined in govt. service as an Assistant surgeon in 1984 (January) under the peoples’s Republic of Bangladesh. A few days later he joined as a lecturer of pharmacology at Rajshahi Medical College. He obtained Ph.D. in pharmacology from the Institute of Biological Sciences, University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. After that, he gradually promoted as Assistant professor, Associate professor & then Professor of Pharmacology. He became the head of the department. In 2016 he was promoted as principal of Rajshahi Medical College and become the Dean of Faculty of Medicine at the University of Rajshahi. He retired from govt. service on 9th March 2018. After that, he joined one of the best non-govt. Medical College as principal & Professor of Pharmacology. The author was a Principal Supervisor to guide the M.phil Pharmacology thesis of about 25 students. The author published about 30 articles in different reputed journals at home & abroad. He is now inactive in teaching & research. His wife is a School teacher and one daughter in MBBS doctor and another reads at Higher Secondary level.
